The Ninglu AM706 Marine Anemometer offers reliable measurement of wind speed and direction, making it essential for marine use. This device is especially suitable for oil tankers, as it meets ExxonMobil MESQAC standards.
The AM706 includes two main components: an operator unit and a sensor unit. The operator unit has an easy-to-read digital display. A red LED ring shows relative wind direction, while a yellow ring displays wind variation. Digital LED lines provide clear readings of both wind speed and direction. You can switch between relative and true wind modes or activate gust mode to track peak wind speeds over time.
The sensor unit has both wind speed and wind direction sensors. The wind speed sensor uses a rotor with three cups to capture data precisely. A wind vane connected to an angle sensor allows the device to measure wind direction accurately, covering all 360°.
Adjustable brightness settings make the display readable in any light condition. This anemometer also outputs wind data through the NMEA0183 protocol, which supports integration with systems like VDR and ECS. Users can set alarms for specific wind speeds, ensuring compliance with safety requirements onboard.
