YDK Tech (Previous Yokogawa) Electromagnetic Log EML500 is an Electromagnetic Speed Log designed for general merchant vessels; supporting both flush-mountable and dual-axis sensors.
Features
- Preamp built into the sensor for stable & long-distance transmission (max.300m long) of current signal
- Single-axis sensor (fore-and-aft)
- Optional dual-axis sensor measures longitudinal & traverse speed
- Can receive a backup signal (NMEA-0183) from external speed sensors (i.e. GPS receiver)
- Sea Valves available for installing sensors on the bottom of the hull
