The HLD-VDR600 is approved with MED wheelmark and also carries CCS and RMRS certifications, making it suitable for use in both newbuilds and retrofits.

It complies with IMO Resolution MSC.333(90) and boasts the following features:

• • Three recording mediums, including a fixed capsule with a 48-hour capacity, a float-free capsule with a 48-hour capacity, and long-term recording with a 30-day capacity.
  • Four video sources to record radars, ECDIS, and other relevant video imagery.
  • Durable outdoor microphones that are specifically designed and built for the harsh and wet conditions of the exposed bridge wings.
  • Distributed hardware that is modular in design, enabling it to be positioned rationally within the ship’s bridge area, and minimizing the lengths of cable runs.

In collaboration with our partner company association, our service team offers Highlander VDR/SVDR APT – Annual Performance Test.

Given the crucial role of these systems in accident analysis, it is essential that VDR/SVDR are always operational and capable of recording the necessary data.

Our VDR technicians are duly qualified to conduct Highlander VDR APT for HLD-B2, HLD-S2, HLD-SVDR600 & VDR600 models.
