The MG5473 Magnetron is a high-performance pulse magnetron, ideal for radar systems. It operates at a fixed frequency of 9410 ± 30 MHz, ensuring precise radar functionality. With a peak output of 12.5 kW, it delivers powerful radar signals.
This magnetron’s compact design makes it easy to integrate into various radar systems. Weighing only 0.7 kg, it’s both lightweight and durable. The integral magnet provides stable performance, while natural cooling ensures efficient operation without the need for additional cooling mechanisms.
The MG5473 operates with a heater voltage of 6.3 V and a heater current of 0.5 A. It has a fast preheating time of just 60 seconds, so the system is up and running quickly. The cathode is indirectly heated, helping optimize energy usage.
For reliable performance, the MG5473 works within a range of 5.4 – 6.4 kV for anode voltage and 3.0 – 6.0 A for anode current. It supports a pulse duration of up to 2.5 ms and a duty cycle of 0.0025. The magnetron also boasts a pulse repetition rate of 1000 pps, offering continuous operation in radar applications.
