Furuno FA-170 AIS Class A Hamriyah LPG Terminal

Furuno FA-170 AIS is a maritime Universal AIS (Automatic Identification System) Transponder designed to exchange navigation and ship data between the vessel and other ships or coastal stations. The FA-170 can present data for collision avoidance with its east-to-use interface. This product is the replacement to the FA-150.

The FA-170E fully complies with the US Coast Guard Interface Design Description (IDD) for E-AIS. The FA170E supports Blue Force Tracking (BFT) and “Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) Tactical Information Exchange and Display System” (STEDS) modes in operation in addition to working in standard Class A mode.
